1) Should the death penalty exist as a punishment for murder or terrorism?

Yes it must be a death penalty for those because they killed people who innocent, Moreover, they must have a strong punishment that all people be aware to kill people.

2) Should the main purpose of prison be punishment or rehabilitation?

In that case, people who are in jail should get the both, they must punish to know that what they done is wrong and the law of the country. Moreover, at the same time they have to rehabilitation to be a helpful person for the country.

3) What is the best way to deal with juvenile crime such as joy-riding, Vandalism and graffiti?

For the joy-riding , there are many way to deal with such as, put an amount for them if they do not be strict with the law. Vandalism they must be punish and rehabilitation. Graffiti they must have the same as vandalism.

4) Is it ever right for political activists to break the law?

No they have not to break the law because the law is for all the people in the country. Moreover, those people are who put the law for the country and they must be confident with that.

5) How strict should the law be with people who drink and drive?

These people who drink and drive are mostly who make accedints, and the government should punish them if they drive and drink.

6) Which is the more serious problem in your county tax evasion or social security fraud?

In Qatar, we do not have evasion tax because we do not pay any tax. The social security fraud appears to be common in many other countries.

7) Should the police have the right to stop and search you in the street without a warrant?

In that case, yes they have to stop them, for example, may be the person is drink or not in well. Moreover, it might be that the person is wanted for the government, and they have the right to stop him.

8) Should smoking cannabis be a criminal offence?

Yes it must be because cannabis is not helpful and it is dangerous for the body.

It's taught  me alot of things that will help me at my future life. Such as:
- Use the useful reference.
- Write in a formal style.
- How to write a report.

One of the useful module that helps to improve our referance and bibliography. Moreover, they learn me how to put an intext referance in essayes.

Academic listning

Note taken, how to listin and write some note of what i hear and understand. That will help me at my study future lifes.

Academic reading 

I feel that its learn me alot because that is the subject that i didnt feel comfortable with it before i study at university. But university of Glamorgan learn me alot and improve me very well in the reading.

Electrical science 

The teacher learn me how to work with the lab test and how to use the complecated electrical tools. Also, how to make an electrical circut and to relay in my self at the lab.

Mechanical science 1,2 

Its a confused subject that make me stress and not feel will with my study. However, teachers helps me to learn and understand that subject, also, they help me to attend my classes every week. Then i feel confident with that subject.

Mathematics 

I toke that subject in me high school, so, i feel confident with that subject and to calculate easy. Moreover, the lactural are helpful with us in our marks and studies. Although, i improve my calculation without using calculater in the exams.

o   Give examples for the subject that I study.

o   Talk fast.

o   Feel stress and nervous.

o   Not good conclusion.

o   Need more reference and for pictures.

Civil Engineering

HOD Civil Engineering (2013)

Civil engineering is one of the most important majors in Qatar these days. Most companies need the students who study that major because it includes architecture, health and safety, and construction planning. According to Ice.org.uk (2013), "Civil engineering is the art of directing the great sources of power in nature for the use and convenience of mankind." These days many universities in Qatar teach students that major, such as, Qatar University and the College of North Atlantic. There are many reasons that let me come forward to the UK for study my major at University of Glamorgan, and of the these reasons is that in Qatar the study is more difficult comparing to the UK. In my country, I have all the interesting things that do not let me concentrate on study. Moreover, the other reason is the rank of Qatar University in the world; it is 927 according to 4icu.org (2013). Although, there are difference and similarities between Qatar and the UK in Universities. For example, the way of teaching and the nationalities of teachers that teaches the students. In Qatar, most of the teachers are from Arabic country and there are a different in pronunciation. However, in the UK, teachers are from the same country and it is easy for the students to understand what they talk about and the pronunciation is very well. Also, in both universities they have an assignment that all students should do it and submit it on time. Even though the word count for the essays are too many (start from 1000 to 4000) for both countries. Therefore, studying at the UK is more comfortable than Qatar.

Culture in the UK

Fish and chips (thegrocer.co.uk)

Since 11 January 2011, this was the first time for me to enter the UK. It was the best year for me to enter the UK. The trip to UK was to study at the Bridge Program at Cardiff University. I gained knowledge from that course about some of the British culture. It is interesting to learn about other culture, as an example, the British culture.

Culture differs from one country to another. According to the Centre for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA) (2012), culture is the “Shared pattern of behaviours and interactions, cognitive, contracts and affective understanding.” In the UK, people are so helpful and kind with contact to other people. People in the UK use their culture every day and every time, in their clothes, food and life style. Fish and chips is one of the famous food in the UK. According to BBC (2013) fish and chips have fed millions of memories - eaten with greasy fingers on a seaside holiday.

Manchester University (2013)

I can’t start my blog without telling you about the Olympic game that was in London 2012. It was in summer 2012 in London, and a lot of countries were play in that Olympic game. It is one of the important inventions in the UK.

 England:

The most popular sports in England are Football, Rugby, and cricket (england.org.za 2013 ). Moreover, now a day the most sports are football and cricket, because it is the most useful sports and people enjoy that’s games. Also, the popular game in England is football. For example, there are a lot of football sports team in England, such as, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and a lot of them.

  Ireland:

In Ireland there are many popular sports, like Soccer, Hockey, and Rugby Union (irelandlogue.com 2013). People are interesting in these sports because they are depending in the moving of body and by more flexible. Moreover, it better for their physical health. On the other hand, the most traditional sport in Ireland is curling/hurling. It’s the same as football but in curling/hurling they use sticks to play, and they run along the stadium and hit the small ball by the stick. This game was published in the 16 century (irish-curling.org 2013).

Scotland:

The most popular sports in Scotland are Football, Rugby, and Golf (talentscotland.com 2012). They are important in Scotland and also they are so helpful and useful for the health. Moreover, the most tradition game in Scotland is Football because its more interesting in Scotland.

Wales:

Finally, the popular sports in Wales are football, rugby, and swimming (barryanddistrictnews.co.uk 2013). According to Barry and district news that swimming is the most popular sport in Wales with 48%, then football with 45%, and finally rugby 35%.

1.     How many people speak this language in the world today?

In 1991 there were 508,000 speakers in the UK. 2001 UK census, 582,000 people in Wales claim to be able to speak Welsh. 20% of the UK population speak Walsh.

2.     Where is the main areas in the UK where this language is spoken?

There are almost 26,000 speakers in rural Powys in mid Wales, but in the south-east we find almost 28,000 in Rhondda-Cynon-Taf, 29,000 in Swansea, and 32,500 in Cardiff. Most of the speakers are in Wales.

3.     What is the history of this language in the UK? When was it first spoken? Who by? What is the behind its arrival in the UK?

Welsh developed from older Celtic languages in the 6th century and 90% of the population spoke Welsh as recently as 1850. There were two main reasons for its rapid decline, firstly, the industrial revolution with its mass immigration and secondly, the active and often forcible discouragement of its use. The first spoken was in 1850.

4.     Any other information about this language that think may be interesting for other members of the class?

Welsh speakers are increasing, is amongst school children. Welsh-medium schools are flourishing and in 1990 it became compulsory for children in English-medium state schools to learn Welsh up to the age of 14. In 1999 the upper age limit was raised to 16.

Content details	In this newspaper the information are more than the sun and it is more accurate. -according to Siegfried Hecker, a nuclear scientist who visited the country's main Yongbyon nuclear complex in 2010.	The information are less and it is not so accurate. -They did not mention about the 2010.

London Roits

London Riots

The London riot was happened in 2011, that riot was happened because of a police man killed a person, and the people were did not accept that and then they do the riot. The riot was happened in different places in the UK. The riot where placed in Tottenham and north London BBC (2012).

In that riot was happened a considerable amount of damage and people were arrested . According to BBC News (2012) “More than 3000 thousand people were arrested in connection with the unrest, which saw streets in parts of the country awash with looting, arson and violence.”

A vigil held on Saturday night in Tottenham for Mark Duggan, shot earlier in the week be police, sparked riots through the night, followed on Sunday by sporadic looting across the capital.
