public schools in Qatar and UK

There are two kinds of schools in the world either Public or private schools . Some people think that public schools are better for their children . To compare between public schools in the UK and Qatar we will find that there are many differences . The comparison will consider the way of teaching the students in both countries and the rule used in the schools .

At the beginning , public schools in Qatar teach students in a religious way . The subject that are taken in the schools includes compulsory subjects like Islamics , mathematics , Arabic and English .Moreover , public schools in Qatar are free for citizens and non-citizens and include the fees of the books .However , it do charges the international students for the fees books . However, in the UK the subject are almost the same but it do differs in the religious education and some extra subjects ,  for example, music , history and design and technology . Most of the public schools in the UK are free for the citizens students .

The rules in schools must be restricted and the student should go on with the rules . Qatar schools instruct the students to not rebel the rules. The rules are do not late to enter the class , to be commitment with the uniform and respect the teachers. Also, in the UK do restrict the students to obey the same rules . Moreover , one of  the most common difference between the UK and Qatar public schools is that boys and girls study together . Qatari student study in the school more than one language. For example , Arabic , English and France. However , British student study Franch , Germany or Spanish at the age of 15 , then they can drop it or continue with the level .

At conclusion , the most similarity between Qatar and The UK public schools is the subjects and the most different factor is the mixed gender in the schools . I hope that schools in Qatar will be as the UK schools .

  1. School children do learn a foreign language (usually French, German or Spanish) to the age of 15 - Year 3, then they have the option to take it a GCSE level or drop it.
